Vanaya Talk Webinar Highlights the Future of Talent Management with AI and Neurometrics

Jakarta, Indonesia — November 7, 2024

Vanaya Indonesia successfully hosted another Vanaya Talk/exclusive webinar titled "Streamlining Talent Management with AI" . This groundbreaking session brought together human resources professionals, business leaders, and tech enthusiasts to explore the transformative potential of artificial intelligence (AI) and neurometrics in talent management.

The webinar featured two distinguished speakers: Lyra Puspa, the President of Vanaya & Co and a renowned Business Neuroscientist, and Ferry M. Butarbutar, the Human Resource Division Head at PT Trakindo Utama. Moderated by Setya Rahadi, an Executive and Leadership Coach at Vanaya Indonesia, the session provided participants with actionable insights on leveraging cutting-edge technology for recruitment, employee development, and overall HR strategy.

AI-Powered Recruitment: Insights from PT Trakindo Utama

Ferry M. Butarbutar shared insights into how PT Trakindo Utama has integrated AI to enhance recruitment efficiency. As the company experienced increased hiring demands, traditional recruitment methods proved to be time-intensive, particularly during the CV shortlisting stage. To address this, PT Trakindo Utama implemented an AI-driven system designed to streamline the process.

This system accelerates the matching of candidates’ qualifications to job requirements while ensuring alignment with the company’s standards. By integrating these technologies, PT Trakindo Utama has achieved faster recruitment cycles and improved overall candidate experience.

Redefining Talent Potential Through Brain Analytics

In her presentation, Lyra Puspa introduced Vanaya's neurometric brain analytics, a cutting-edge technology designed to analyze cognitive and emotional capacities. This approach moves beyond traditional competency models, offering a deeper understanding of an individual’s potential by examining the malleability and adaptability of the brain.

"Brain plasticity means that talents can be rewired and upscaled," Lyra emphasized. This concept lies at the heart of neurometrics, which maps out an individual's brain capacity to identify their strengths, untapped potential, and areas for improvement. The technology allows organizations to better understand employees' cognitive and emotional competencies, helping leaders make data-driven decisions on placement, development, and succession planning.

Targeted Talent Placement and Development

One of the key innovations presented was the Talent-Fit Neurometric®, which assesses an employee’s suitability for specific roles. By creating an organizational map of brain scores, companies can identify high-potential individuals for leadership or specialized roles while also determining developmental needs. Lyra categorized talent into actionable profiles, such as:

  • Emerging Stars: High potential individuals ready for growth roles.

  • Current Champions: Employees excelling in their current roles with capacity for expanded responsibilities.

  • Sleeping Giants: Talents with untapped potential, requiring strategic interventions to unlock capabilities.

Through this analysis, HR leaders can ensure that the right people are placed in roles where they are most likely to thrive and contribute meaningfully to organizational goals.

A Call to Embrace Innovation

The session concluded with an invitation for HR leaders to adopt AI and neuroscience-based approaches to talent management. “The future of HR is about leveraging data and technology to make smarter, faster decisions while enhancing the human element in organizations,” said one of the speakers.

With participants from diverse industries, the webinar reinforced the importance of innovation in navigating the challenges of modern workforce management. For more information on Vanaya’s initiatives, visit their official website.
