Updated: Aug 9, 2023

The AKHLAK Culture Festival TelkomGroup 2023 was a historic moment attended by various important stakeholders in the transformation of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom). The Deputy of Human Resources, Technology, and Information Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises, Tedi Bharata, and Telkom's CEO, Ririek Adriansyah, were honored guests at the event. They appreciated Telkom's efforts in internalizing a strong and relevant corporate culture amidst the dynamic telecommunications industry.

The festival, commemorating three years of AKHLAK as the core values of all BUMN (State-Owned Enterprises) members, was attended by guests from diverse backgrounds, including business partners, customers, and players from the telecommunications industry. Additionally, more than 1,000 participants, including TelkomGroup employees, other BUMN employees, and students, were present. The festival was filled with talk shows and a remarkable performance by Tulus. The event took place at Telkom Landmark Tower, Jakarta, on Monday, July 31, 2023.

In the talk show session, Lyra Puspa, President of Vanaya & Companies, was one of the speakers and presented the theme "The Role of Culture Champion to Foster Culture Internalization." Lyra shared insights and best practices on the importance of embodying corporate culture values to drive sustainable business transformation.

Lyra explained that corporate culture is a unique identity that includes norms, values, beliefs, and behaviors shaping employees' character in facing global business challenges. Culture is a strong foundation for business transformation, and corporate culture has become a new currency for companies. Internalizing a strong corporate culture is the key to sustainability and competitiveness in an era of inevitable change.

Lyra also emphasized the significance of understanding the relationship between culture and company performance. Companies with a good culture tend to have high-performing employees who positively contribute to the organization's success. Corporate culture can influence "synchrony" or alignment of thoughts and actions among employees, creating strong synergy in achieving common goals.

The talk show highlighted the crucial role of Culture Champions in shaping corporate culture. They are individuals who consistently promote and implement corporate culture values and inspire other employees to follow suit. Culture Champions act as change drivers and role models in implementing corporate culture. They must be able to inspire, influence, and motivate employees to contribute to the organization's success.

Lyra encouraged all participants to become agents of change in implementing a strong corporate culture that positively impacts business sustainability. By becoming Culture Champions, each individual can contribute to driving the company's transformation towards a sustainable future.

Director of Human Capital Management Telkom, Mr. Afriwandi, presented an award plaque to Ms. Lyra Puspa, accompanied by Ms. Kamariah Latief, VP Cultural Development of PT. Telkom Indonesia.

Through the AKHLAK Culture Festival, TelkomGroup reaffirmed its commitment to building a quality corporate culture, which serves as the primary foundation in achieving its vision of becoming the preferred Digital Telco for the people of Indonesia.
